FlareSens Certification Program

No one touches a FlareSens device without certification.

FlareSens is a life-safety product. Certification is the line an engineer crosses before they install, integrate, map or commission a single device — not a badge earned afterwards.

Certify before you deployPriced per engineerValid 2 years

The principle

Certify first. Then deploy.

Most programs let you deploy and certify later. FlareSens doesn’t. No engineer sells, installs, maintains, maps or commissions a device before the certification for that work is issued — and an uncertified install voids the warranty. Life safety leaves no room for learning on a live site.

Two credentials

Split by capability, not by device.

One line runs between them: mapping.

FCFE

Certified Field Engineer

Install, integrate, maintain and rectify FlareSens devices — CORE and EDGE — plus platform configuration and monitoring.

₹35,000per engineer
  • Authorized & Premium partners
  • Valid 2 years, per engineer
  • Mapping and commissioning excluded
FCDE

Certified Deployment Engineer

Everything a Field Engineer does, plus device mapping and commissioning — the full deployment, with FlareSens supplying only the hardware.

₹75,000per engineer
  • Premium partners only
  • Valid 2 years, per engineer
  • Requires FCFE first

Flat per-engineer fees, the same at every tier — no bundle, no free engineer. Running a 24×7 control centre is a separate licence, gated on holding two FCDE engineers.

How it works

From interest to certified, in four steps.

01

Express interest

Submit here — no fee, no client required, and an approved interest never expires.

02

Pay & study

Pay the per-engineer fee and study the FlareSens curriculum.

03

Pass the assessment

Each engineer sits and passes the FlareSens knowledge assessment.

Before you ask

Common questions.

Do I certify before or after deploying?

Before, always. There is no supported or uncertified deployment of any kind — certification is a hard prerequisite before any engineer installs, integrates, maps or commissions a device. An uncertified install voids the warranty.

Can an individual apply?

No. The program is open to registered companies only — fire-safety deployment requires organisational accountability. Certification is issued per company and priced per engineer.

Do I need FCFE before FCDE?

Yes. FCFE must be held before FCDE, always. Device mapping and commissioning (FCDE) build on everything FCFE covers — mapping is the line between the two.

What if a certified engineer leaves?

You can certify one replacement at 50% of the per-engineer rate, within your active certification period.

What happens if a certification lapses?

A lapsed certification requires full reassessment at the standard fee, after a six-week waiting period. There is no reduced renewal.

Are the fees inclusive of GST?

No. Fees are exclusive of GST, payable in advance, and non-refundable — including where an engineer fails the assessment or leaves.
